This is the official website for the Forest Hills Central boys basketball team of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ken George is the head coach, a position he has held since 1994.

The basketball program at Forest Hills Central has a tradition of championships with eight league, four district and three regional championships in the past 15 years. The history in the 1970's and 80's includes legendary coaches such as Mark Stevens and Tom Walters. Rangerball alumni have played at Wake Forest University, Denison University, Northwood University, Alma College, Albion College, Hope College, Taylor University, Bethel College, Grand Valley State University, Aquinas College, Cornerstone University and Calvin College.

In addition, some former Forest Hills Central basketball players have had success in other sports at the division I level: Kevin Murphy (football, U of M), Mark Bossuah (football, Northern Michigan University), Derek Dennis (baseball, U of M). .

Most recently, the team just completed a 14-8 season that included an OK White Championship. In a thrilling winner-take-all game at Lowell to end the season, the Rangers defeated the Red Arrows by 16. The Rangers placed four players on the OK White All Conference team: Tyler George (1st team), Sal Sidebotham (1st team), Ryan Dunn (honorable mention) and Dan Deindorfer (honorable mention). George, Dunn, and Deindorfer are all returning next season for what should be an exciting season of Rangerball.

Forest Hills Central basketball's most successful basketball alum is Kyle Visser, who played professionally overseas after graduating more than 10 years ago. He was a part of the team that lost to Saginaw in the Quarterfinals in 2001-02. He is currently a real estate agent in Grand Rapids.
